SPIRITUAL PERSPECTIVES

While it is common place today for people of different walks-of-life
to have differing perspectives on any any issue...let alone spirituality, ExploreGod.com has one objective:

We strive to help people work through their various perspectives regarding spirituality, by providing appropriate and helpful information.

We believe that most people struggle with developing their spiritual life because they often lack a sufficient awareness of God's desire to relate to them in a real and personal way. Religiosity so quickly turns all of us off from our pursuit of a truly dynamic spiritual life. ExploreGod.com is not about religiosity, it is about what the name implies...Exploring God.

Begin Study: Intro. to Spiritual Perspectives

You hear it in the discussions at college campuses. You hear it in the discussions at work. Every day, the taboo subject of religion get’s raised, and every day people fall into one of two camps…either they are open to spirituality, or they have serious intellectual objections to the validity of spiritual things.

Compounding the issue is that many people are not well educated regarding what the various religions…for example, Christianity...truly teach. Limited understanding often leads to false perceptions and false conclusions. The goal of the following mini-lessons is to challenge these false perceptions and conclusions using the actual teachings of the Bible. We understand that you may have issues with trusting the validity of the Bible ( See: Can You Trust The Bible? ), and if this is true for you, we encourage you to first view the lesson: Exploration: Why Die for a Lie? Please remember, it is entirely possible that your perceptions and conclusions regarding the Bible may be based upon poor information.

We want to encourage you to consider practicing one very important spiritual exercise before beginning any lesson found on this website. Consider offering the following simple prayer, it is so easy and risk-free, but it can be incredibly helpful in your spiritual search:

“God, if anything I read on this website is from you, then help me to accept it, and all that is not from you, help me to reject. Amen.”

We believe God will honor that simple prayer, because we believe he wants you to truly know him.

The Prayer Challenge...
